Our location to Camp LeJeune Marine Corp Base; New River Air Station; Camp Johnson; Cherry Point Marine Corp Base; Bouge Air Field; Emerald Isle; Swansboro; Morehead City; Beaufort; Shackleford Banks; Jacksonville; Fort Macon; The Croatan National Forest; North Carolina Aquarium; Hammocks Beach State Park and Bear Island places us in the heart of the Crystal Coast. We are within 5-30 minutes of all of these great places. Freedom Way, where we are located, is the same highway that connects all of these places to one another. Freedom Way is also known as Highway 24. In 1991, during the first Gulf War, it was named so because we transport our fine military men and women from the bases to The Port in Morehead City for deployment off shore.

Surrounded by the waterways forests and wetlands of The Southern Outer Banks we are minutes to some of the best boating kayaking fishing shelling and natural tranquil experiences the world has to offer. Add all of these to the unmatched shops of antiques, arts, restaurants, fish and produce markets which are almost all locally owned and operated for generations and only minutes away you have the best and way above the rest.

Our short term nightly weekly hotel suites or our extended stay suites offer the best in quality cleanliness serenity and value. We are just minutes from the big box names of Hampton Inn, Best Western, Hyatt, Holiday Inn and so on. Local is always the way to go especially with so much of the area established in the early 1700’s.

Our entire establishment and our guests know we operate on respect for one another and the property. Disrespect for the property or other guests is not tolerated. We have strictly enforced quite times from 2200 hours / 10 PM to 0800/ 8 AM.

We have accommodated great military men and women from Private First Class to Colonel all of them fine honorable respectful folks. We also have had the wonderful opportunity to be the choice for newlyweds for honeymoons and anniversaries. The loved ones of these men and women deploying or returning have made memories for future generations staying here. The tranquil settings of gazebos gardens old porch swings and rockers bonfires BBQ’s and our National Park like setting in the back forest of the property; have allowed our guests to share intimate thoughts and feelings on their way overseas and on their return. Families can welcome their children spouses fiances partners or friends home or send them off with home cooked meals and baked goods which they can prepare in our fully equipped kitchens. It truly is a home away from home a surrogate home to share with yourself or others while you are in the area. We also accommodate wonderful men and women PC ‘sing and contractors for extended projects on Camp LeJeune and the other Marine Corp Bases.

The few farm animals goats Guinea fowl and a couple of barn kitties we have around the property are the entertainment along with the deer the fox the birds of prey and a multitude of other beautiful creatures of the coastal forests.

The gardens are generational and have been planted with mostly propagated plants and gifts of plants and bulbs to the family. There is something blooming on the property almost every day of the year. Of course, the Spring and Summer are the pinnacle of botanical brilliance. Even in the dead cold of winter the Camillas around the property are bloming their hearts out.
