Wednesday, March 30, 2011 - 11:12 AM
Well, unbelievable today is March 30, 2011.  Man  the time is flying by.  The two kidd goats Wilberina (formally Violet) and Nestor (Always Nestor) are getting friendlier and friendlier.  The guests have been spoiling them bad with attention.

This past week we had the winter salad greens peak their first greens up from the clay.  Mr. T. ( Mr. Taylor) & Miss T ( Mrs. Taylor) started the seeds just over a week ago with some seed potato rows and crook neck yellow squash.  I think this is about there 62 year of planting a garden together at the old homestead.

We also planted 16 containers of different varieties of tomatoes.  They should be starting to provide the guests with amble supply by June.  The container strawberries are blooming and fruiting their selves out as well.  Not to mention the incredible bloom of daffodils iris thrift money bush dogwoods wisterias and much more.

The Azalea bloom is just starting and should

Michael & Precious
Wednesday, June 17, 2009 - 6:49 AM
Michael & Precious were our first couple at The White House on Freedom Way.  They arrived in March 2009.  What a great couple.  Michael is a Marine and both he and Precious his wife are now heading to Okinawa for three years.  We will all miss them dearly.  It is so great to have met these young folks with great goals aspirations and passion tied to their grasp of life.

Precious, spent her time here photographing the vast palate of flowers that bloomed from March through June.  She also created this slide show that will be on line soon.  She also photographed the many chickens and their chicks, the goats and their kids and so much more.

Michael also had his parents join him at The White House.  They were visiting from frozen Minnisota.  They stayed in our country suite.  After meeting the parents I understood why Michael has matured into such a fine young man, marine, husband and friend.

What a joy to know these folks!
